Very interesting!
I hadn't realised she had had such an interesting life, until I read this book! I initally ordered it because I was interested in how she coped with her deafness, being an actress etc, I certainly learnt alot more!
Even if you're not a fan of hers, it is an interesting autobiography.

Execellent as the book i ordered was "used" which came as if I had bought a brand new book, excellent condition and was made up with this. I will certainly recommend people to buy used books as much cheaper and good value.

Matlin's not just a pretty face
I've loved Marlee Matlin since I saw her earliest works. I think she is an exemplar demonstration of what a self-respecting actress should be. She's absolutely wonderful. This book clearly demonstrates her immeasurable talent. My partner is deaf and considers Matlin an idol of sorts. We both have a fond likeness for her and thus this book has been a intriguing insight into a beautiful life. Wonderful piece of writing. x
