Lives in the shadow of the much more successful Smell Of, but just as funny if not more so. Combines the controlled insanity of earlier work with the odd celebrity being made to squirm and "The Club".

The original and worst, though still better than any other comedy guff. Perhaps a little too reliant on catchphrases and the student atmosphere, but still ace.

For fans of Darkplace. May seem a little forced and obvious at first, but really comes into its own in the second year. Could watch it all day, literally.

When I'm not off criticising later series I can be found enjoying this first sublime effort, full of great plots and actual writing, as opposed to disjointed nonsense the show became known for.

Simply put, at £15 for five series you've no excuse to not own this. I myself have bought three so as not to be a hypocrite.

As brilliantly realised as Partridge and often as funny, this second series broadens the comedy a little but succeeds all the more for it. More please.

Alllllll the way back. Oddly, as a child I loved this. Still do, can't beat a bit of insane adventuring. Still, wouldn't let MY kids watch it.

I remember the first time I saw the talking moose head ("I can speak english. I learn it from a boook") I must have woken the whole house up with laughing. Perfectly acted, scultped and scripted.

I've been trundling through this at the minute. My love for Charlie Higson is only matched by my hatred of Arabella Weir, NONE of her sketches are funny in the slightest. Great value.

Fantastic stuff, miles better than the inferior Brass Eye, with a great supporting cast and infinite quotablility. "Russia elects cobweb" anyone?

The show continued to be good, but not as great as these joyous first six episodes. Plus, it gave us Ashley Jensen. Unless you count that episoe of Rab C Nesbitt she was in. Which you don't.

I stopped buying the biweekly mag of Fools as it was too expensive, but I recall enjoying this series the most. Last to feature those hilarious shots of Lennard Pearce just looking lost and alone!
