Prior to becoming an author, he spent ten years running a successful London-based studio specialising in lifestyle photography for advertising and editorial clients. Les has written three previous books: Creative Exposure Control, Digital Image Making, and Digital Photography Basics, and has written for numerous UK photography magazines, including Amateur Photographer, Practical Photography, and Professional Photographer.
