It's a Beatrix Baby!
I bought this for my Mum, but I'll review as though its for the kiddies. This series from Ty is based on Beatrix Potter's collection of animal tales. Young kids will think him very sweet, cuddly and colourful although collectors might want to consider leaving the tag on.
As far as durability goes, its not very floppy and you can't really move the arms or legs, but it will sit up nicely.
The only educational value it has is bringing attention to Ms Potter's works with so minor detail in the tag.
Overall: Unlike most TY Beanie Babies, this isn't a very floppy toy, if that is what you're looking for. But for a collector its certainly one to put on your list as he does look very good. You will be better off finding him in stores however as his face/body may get squashed in if other heavier parcels land on top of him during transit.
