Jemima Puddle-duck
This TY beanie baby is based on the character Jemima Puddle-duck, created by English author, illustrator, botanist and conservationist {Helen} Beatrix Potter.
Beatrix wrote around 23 children's books and Peter Rabbit was based on her second pet rabbit of the same name.

Normally, each TY beanie baby has their own birthday and poem that rhymes, but Jemima and 5 other Beatrix Potter characters - Tom Kitten, Mr Tod {fox}, Peter Rabbit, Pigling Bland and Mr Jeremy Fisher {Frog} were created as a special set, with each of the beanies heart shaped tags telling you about the origins of that character.
This beanies tag reads -

FIRST PUBLISHED = 1908.
Jemima Puddle-duck was a real Hill Top {where Beatrix lived from age 47 onwards} duck who wasn't good at hatching eggs.

Jemima is surface washable and stands at 20cm from hat to toe.
