At last!
It would be safe to say that, apart from the Christmas album and "Greatest Hits" I have all of Bebe and Cece Winans albums. So naturally I was pleased - if somewhat apprehensive - that they had FINALLY released another album together.

For the Bebe and Cece aficionados out there, you'd recognise that the chorus of "Still" contains song titles from previous albums. If you're as retentive as I am you will know exactly which albums those songs came from :)

The album is a great "comeback" (as if they'd ever left!) album. Some songs stand out; "Close To You" and "Reason To Dance" remind me of some of their older stuff, especially the latter. "Things" basically says things don't bring ultimate happiness - "tell me what love they bring".

I smiled when I first heard "He Can Handle It" because I recall the awful attempts at American artistes in the 80s & 90s to do what they thought was reggae - this is definitely progress! Every time I hear "Never Thought" sometimes the chorus sounds like one you'd cry and sing at the same time...or maybe it's just me. "I Found Love (Cindy's Song)" is a simple but beautiful love song.

My favourite song by far is "Changed My World"; if it were ever released as an extended mix I would definitely buy it but I can see it won't be to many people's taste. "Let It Be" is similar musically to "Changed My World", listen real hard for Mary Mary.

For Bebe and Cece Winans fans like me, it's one worthy to add to your collection. If you've never owned one of their albums, this is as good as any to buy. It's been a long time but definitely worth the wait.
