A beautiful book, a great introduction to the Quakers
This book gives a very good, clear and concise introduction to the Quakers. It puts accross well the essence of the Religious Society of Friends as an open-minded, compassionate Christian way that is grounded in the True Foundation. No condemnation here, but rather a way of thinking that transcends differences and focuses on the sameness in all of us, "There is that of God in everyone". The book portrays the quaker philosophy which is about putting in to practice the essence of the Christian commandment and universal truth, "love one another".
Wonderful little book
This little book is a brilliant introduction to the 'Quakers' (otherwise known as the Society of Friends) it is very short but contains a wealth of information about their outlook, practices, worship and the way they live their lives.
This book really whet my appetite and made me want to learn more about this wonderful group of Christians.
