A great fun camcorder for sharing
I love my Flip camcorder - it's so easy to use - just a couple of buttons and I'm shooting my own movie! The sound quality isn't as great as a standard camcorder but the images are really clear and the software is simple to use so loading to You Tube is very quick and straightforward. It's a great fun camcorder that I can just carry around in my handbag and have out and using in seconds - which is really great at parties.

Good for a few months, then out of warranty. No options after.
Can't say fairer than 'you get what you pay for' - in particular the after-sales service... If like many others, you also find that your Flip Ultra craps out after the 90 day (yes, it's true) warranty, then you have pretty much no other option than to buy a new camera. Unlike the Mino, this camera has no 'reset button', and the manufacturers confidence in the resilience of the hardware is amply illustrated by the brief warranty period. The support FAQ is pretty much just a glorified user manual.

I'm really sorry, I loved my Flip while it worked... shame it was only for 6 months.
