	Seven Samurai [1954] [DVD] Buy new: £12.78 / Used from: £9.25 Probably the greatest action/adventure film ever made! Toshiro Mifune and Takeshi Shimura give exceptional performances
	Roger Waters - In The Flesh - Live [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £5.48 / Used from: £4.50 Not for everyone, but for everyone who's into Pink Floyd a near essential purchase
	Joe Satriani - Live In San Francisco [DVD] [2000] Buy new: £5.48 / Used from: £3.69 A fantastic guitarist performing in a brilliant performance all in 5.1 too. For anyone into rock guitar.
	Night Watch by Terry Pratchett Buy used from: £0.58 Is this funny? Yes...yes it is, though it helps if you're in the know. So start now!
	Gran Turismo 3: A Spec (PS2) Buy new: £17.99 / Used from: £0.01 The best looking driving game on PS2 and the most realistic by far
	Up by Peter Gabriel Buy used from: £32.32 Out in May. Superlative album made better with a 5.1 SACD multi-channel mix. Faultless
	Red Dwarf: Complete BBC Series 1 [DVD] Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £2.45 Not the best series but the seeds had been sown for many brilliant episodes

	2001: A Space Odyssey [1968] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.17 A fantastic film you'll either get and love, or don't get and ignore.
	The Thing [DVD] [1982] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £1.00 An incredibly well acted, suspenseful and gory movie, let down only by not being anamorphic widescreen
	Dream by Kitaro Buy used from: £4.60 Beautiful music, beautifully played. Featuring the vocals of Jon Anderson of Yes
	The War of the Worlds (Modern Library) by H.G. Wells Buy new: £5.39 / Used from: £1.09 The first serious Sci-Fi book I ever read. This is where modern Sci-Fi was born
	War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne Buy used from: £7.88 You've read the book, now listen to the music! I can hear the cry of ULLA from hear!!
	The Matrix/Matrix Revisited [DVD] [1999] Buy used from: £0.01 A truly cool film. Almost genre defining!

	Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon -- Superbit [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £1.14 Here's another great film; superb choreography, intelligent direction and also on Superbit DVD
	Rashomon [1950] [DVD] Buy used from: £10.58 I COULD list all Kurosawa's movies but, along with Seven Samurai this is one of the best
	An American Werewolf In London [DVD] [1981] Buy used from: £2.33 A genuinely scary movie, nicely acted and with some special effects that are still amazing
	Rogue States: The Rule of Force in World Affairs by Noam Chomsky Buy new: £10.96 / Used from: £1.94 Do you know who's the 'good' guys and the 'bad' guys? Think again
	The Best of Kodo by Kodo Buy new: £6.98 The sound of traditional Japanese drums is incredible, you'll feel the vibration in your entire body. Wonderful!
	Metropolis -- Two Disc Special Edition [DVD] [1927] Buy used from: £16.00 One of the few true classics of cinema history, now given the DVD presentation it deserves
	Final Fantasy X (PS2) Buy used from: £9.40 A truly epic RPG. Breathtaking visuals, incredible sound and an engaging plot (if that's your thing)
	Doctor Strangelove (Collectors Edition) [DVD] [1963] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £2.24 One of the funniest films ever made, and the blackist. Brilliant performances from all concerned!
