Customer Reviews
Odd comppatability problems.
I've tried this wheel with NFS:Carbon, Sega rally, GT5 (tech demo) and GT5 Prologue.
Worked ok in NFS, far too inprecise in Sega Rally, worked fine in GT5 (tech demo) though the pedals were not properly calibrated.
Avoid like the plague if you have GT5:Prelude. For some reason the wheel and pedals seem to work in the main menu but are completely incompatable with the driving. There's simply no response as you use the controls, which is odd as they seemed to work relatively ok in the tech demo. No amount of Jiggery Pokery could get this to run, even after disabling all other controllers (Bluetooth handset and wireless 6 axis).
No good for WII games
I bought this steering wheel to use on the WII with Ferrari Challenge.
Unfortunately it is not supported by the game - it appears this wheel only works in 'virtual console mode' with classic downloadable games.
It is no good for games designed specifically for the WII
Good, when it works
I bought this wheel from Game on 27 Dec 2007 and three weeks later iv replaced it twice and am now searching for something better. The problem was the flappy paddles for shifting are exactly that, flappy. Under normal gaming iv damaged 3 paddles so they dont respond anymore, it sounds like something inside has snaped, as there seem to be something rattling around. For around £25 the wheel is ok, soft force feed back and a bit plasticy, but what do you expect? Maybe something that does what it says on the tin without breaking the first time its used.
