    Great blender, even for commercial use5
    I have a cafe and use this blender every day to whizz up big pans of soup, and to cream together cake ingredients. Its simple, effective and easy to clean. The accessories do not seem very robust so I don't use them in the cafe, (I have a magimix for those jobs!) but they do work fine at home for domestic use, I have used the bowl attachment to finely chop onions and other veg successfully. I would recommend this blender to anyone, it's a real workhorse!

    It is very good as a hand blender, the stainless version especially. However you cannot get spare parts for it, hence I'm on my 3rd new machine in 4 years. This is unhelpful and wasteful when it is only the blender shaft needs to be replaced, the motor and other parts are excellent, but the shaft seal/bearings always wear out after 12 months or so domestic use. You end up buying a whole new appliance, surely Braun could offer spares at a fair price? Hardly environmentally friendly. Appliance 5 * Environmental issues 0 *

    I could not live without it!5
    Since I have had my Braun MR6550 I have used it nearly every day, I would not be without it. I was very upset when I lost the chopping blade, but managed to find a company that do spare parts. I would recomend going for this over some of the cheap ones as the extra power really does make a difference and the chopping bowl of the processor is much bigger.
