Discoteca is a unique compilation of firin' Latino house, funk, electro and disco. Featuring many remixes exclusive to this CD, Discoteca is a smooth and funky mix of rare tunes, compiled by one of the most important and popular DJs for all things Latin, Martin Morales. It's an eclectic compilation that combines Spanish guitars with slices of rumba and Latin beats, Cuban horns with 70s funk and disco with conga and bongos. Discoteca features the very rare emergence of the Balearic and Hacienda classic "Carino" by T-Coy (M People's Mike Pickering) together with the biggest anthem from the acid jazz era: UFO's "Loud Minority", as well as the smooth US release of David Morales's remix of Basement Jaxx's "Bingo Bango". Other highlights include an exclusive remix of "Congo Heaven Bongo Hell" entitled "Discoteca a Go Go", produced and mixed by Tummy Touch's Los Chicharrons.
