Liked it, but got a little stiff after a few weeks; harder to get going

No Power In Powerball
Well, I've had a Powerball Neon Regular for a few days now and I still can't make it spin at a speed which the makers claim is possible. It just lies passively in my hand and if I'm lucky a few lights will twinkle now and then but there is certainly no torque that one would expect from a gyroscopic toy and which indeed is the whole point of it. After all that string pulling I have to say I'm very disappointed and as such I shall not present it to my grandson this Christmas.
