Why didn't i buy years ago?5
Just recieved my quickdock and the only thing i can say is why didn't i buy years ago? The only downside for me is it has no power cable so you either have to buy a spare or keep pluging your laptop power cable into it, think i will buy a spare just for the dock, all in all though it is great, no more hassle pluging and unpluging usb's, got mine set up with my Phone craddle, ipod craddle, x2 external hard drives and my camera cable ready and waiting, so simple but so good, if you get this far, buy it now!!!! You wont regret it, trust me....

Laptop must have Expansion Port1
The single star is not a reflection on the functionality of the Quickdock; rather it is a warning that it does NOT connect to all of the laptops that HP say it will on their web-site. I have an HP G60-214EM, i.e. one of the G60-200 series laptops, and in at least two places on the HP web-site there are references that this laptop can use the Quickdock as an accessory and that the Quickdock is compatible with this series of laptops. Having purchased the item I have found that this is NOT the case, which has subsequently been confirmed by HP after I contacted them. So please be warned. The key element seems to be if the laptop has a port/connection on it called 'expansion port' or 'expansion port 3' (this can be checked in the laptop specifications). If it has one then the Quickdock will connect. If it does not then don't bother buying Quickdock, it simply won't connect

Fantastic 5
Fantastic Product. Just connect 1 cable to my laptop when I get home and my mouse, keyboard, screen, printer & all the USB devices are connect. Only thing I would say is that you need to get another power supply for this, or use the 1 that came with your laptop. I liked it so much I got another 1 for work.
