Amazon.co.uk Review
Donald Duck's nephews learn why holidays come once a year, Goofy and son discover the spirit of Santa, and Mickey and Minnie re-enact a classic tale of giving in this holiday offering. Kelsey Grammer (TV's Frasier) narrates as Donald hosts Christmas at his house, complete with an egg and pancake breakfast, a sledge for each duckling in the closet, and Daisy under the mistletoe. But the celebration gets old fast when the boys' wish for Christmas every day comes true. Next up, Goofy's son wonders whether there is a Santa after the villainous Pete tells him there's not and he catches Dad impersonating the portly gift-giver. Goofy demonstrates the spirit of giving by taking a meal and presents to less-fortunate neighbours and, many Goofy-style mishaps later, father and son have a surprise visitor. In the third story, the mouse lovebirds give an updated spin to O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi", with Minnie having the heirloom watch with no chain and Mickey a harmonica with no case. This trio of Christmas stories adds up to an hour of heartfelt fun, capped off by the gang singing "Jingle Bells". Perfect holiday cheer for those aged 4 and over. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Synopsis
A handful of Walt Disney's best loved characters appear in this direct-to-video release, which tells three different tales of the holiday season. First, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are enjoying Christmas Day with their nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, when the boys wish that every day could be Christmas. Their wish comes true, and before long, they learn why the holiday only comes once a year. Next, Goofy has to teach his son about the real meaning of Christmas after Junior catches Dad impersonating Santa Claus. And Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse appear in an updated version of the O. Henry classic THE GIFT OF MAGIC, in which they both give up a prized possession in order to give their beloved something special for Christmas -- with unexpected consequences. Kelsey Grammer narrates.

the best holiday company5
I bought it from Amazon because I'm a Disney fan.I didn't however expect that my kids would love it that much.Although they didn't focus on the stories, they loved the animation and especially the Donald story.Teenagers loved the Mickey special which is an animated story of the "gift of the magi".Goofy and Max reminded us of the holiday spirit too.I would recommend it to all Disney fans but also to those who want a holiday DVD for their kids and expect good quality in it.Fabulous music!!

classic disney.5
A great dvd split into three main stories. Donald and the lads, goofy and maxie, and last but not least minnie and mickey. Its classic disney with all stories having a happy ending and a message to boot. kids will watch these again and again, and there may be a parent with a tear in their eye at the end of the dvd as well. Excellent stuff!

A Wonderful Disney Christmas Film5
Mickey's Once upon a Christmas is a wonderful film based on what people get at Christmas. There are 3 wonderfully animated films. The animation is so good i wouldn't have been able to tell it was form 1999, if i hadn't known! There are 3 stories: the first one being about Donald, Huey,Dewie and Louie. This is my personal favourite, but it is just as good as the other two stories: A very Goofy Christmas: the tale of when Max and Goofy celebrate Christmas, form the main bulk of the film lasting about 23 mins. The final story is a Disney re-make of the Gift of the Magi, starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

All the stories are wonderful to watch and are such great entertainment. It only deserved to be sequelled because of it's sheer brilliance. Though sadly my one complaint of the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas DVD is there are no extras, though this does not affect my opinion and so for me Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas deserves a minimum of 4 stars. A great film, a wonderful watch and a perfect Christmas present(along with Mulan:Special Edition and Mickey's Twice upon a Christmas)
