Amazon.co.uk Review
Anyone who cares about the state of beats will want this soundtrack companion to the Jessica Alba-starring hip-hop saga, Honey. The inventiveness of rhythm and sound on Honey's first half dozen or so tracks makes for its own drama and should even provide some hope to those who bemoan the genre's recent lack of boundary pushing. Missy Elliott's "Hurt Sumthin'" is a fitting start to the CD; it's another of her and Timbaland's forays into minor-key funk-exotica and a match for anything on her own albums. Rodney Jerkins' setting for Blaque's independent-women manifesto "I'm Good" stomps its percussive way to the top of the must-play list, while further offerings from Mark Ronson (with guests including Ghostface Killah) and the duo of Erick Sermon and Redman keep the progressive-party feel going. The disc's second half winds down into more standard-issue ballad fare, but even then, the flow feels correct--a natural winding down from what the first sizzling cuts began. --Rickey Wright

Honey Soundtrack
This is a good buy for people who have watched and enjoyed the film
It's got most of the songs from the movie that are great to listen to or for a party if you are into that kinda of music
However it doesn't have some of the catchy beats or songs that stick in your head such as
Shawn Desman - So Sexy [From the second music video scene]
3rd Storee - Honey [From Honey's first choreography job scene]
But it's a generally good buy and I like listening to it
Excellent, But...
I think the music from Honey is really good but my favourite isn't on this CD. i wonder if anybody knows the song name of the track used when she is sitting down for lucnh thinking how improve her routine for the video, when she see's the basketball players. She then makes up a routine using basketball moves and also skipping rope actions. Does anybody know that track, as i really liked it. I think it starts off with violins and then the bs kicks in, LOVE IT!
best soundtrack ever
the album is abolutely brilliant!! the songs are very lively and are fantastic to dance to!! i believe is my favourite song of all time!!
