Moving and fascinating5
As a midwife I was humbled to read about a midwife working in Mali, where maternal and child death is common, yet could so easily be prevented. The book is beautifully written and despite the subject matter is often funny and uplifting. Fascinating to gain real insight into a culture so different from mine. Highly recommended.
