Customer Reviews

For the love of house?3
hate to say this but my fears were proven about this compilation. Ministry Of Sound started as the one of the biggest club labels going, but sinse has become far too comercialised, and sadly this is no different.

The name is dead on, this is funky house, but far too commercial for true house music fans. CD1 is very commercial, yet probably the best with some good track choices, Hi tack, Joey Negro, Studio B and Filterfunk tracks are all really good, would have like to have seen them remixed not just mixed but still very listenable

CD2 tries to appeal to the house purists but falls short. There is no life or enegery to the track selection, with sketchy mixing as well (not a lot better than what your cross fading on media players do) The axwell track and remix do bring good life to it as well as Love Sensation, but beyond this there isnt too much else worth shouting about.

Overall i could have given this 4 stars because it is good for those who like their commercial dance. But it got three stars as its nearly false advertising, this isnt true funky and dirty house music, if this is not what your lookin for check out Erick Morillos Subliminal Sessions. If your a fan of The Annual you will love this, mainly because it is virtually the Annual all over again

Blinkin Amazing!5
I love funky house music and this CD contains every song I could want! Its funky, its fresh. I put it onto my Zen and I hardly ever stop listening to it! Its the perfect music as a soundtrack to your life - Listen to it when u r cleaning, making dinner or getting ready for a night out. It won't let you down! If you love funky house you will love this CD and if you buy it you wont be dissapointed. Enjoy!

Absolutely brilliant - a must have for this summer5
Go and buy this album - it's great. Got all the latest and greatest house music with a fantastic funky vibe. I had a house party and this was a brilliant CD to have playing in the background.

There are very few bum songs - most will get you up dancing where-ever you are, whether you mean to or not! Surely a good sign of a good dance compilation! It's got a really great vibe and is good for the background soundtrack to an evening, chilling in the sun or in the car whiling away the hours in this summer's traffic jams.

If there's one dance album you buy this summer, make it this one - you won't be disappointed.
