The Ultimate Kandi Party on a triple CD mixed album charting the trajectory of the internationally-renowned Kandi club nights - and like all great stories, there's a beginning, a middle and end. CD1 represents the first part of the night where the soulful vocals rule, CD2 is full of the tougher tracks that surface later on, and CD3 ends the party with hands in the air, going back to back with feel good Kandi classics. The commercial explosion of funky house means that key tracks from Kandi's dancefloor are also key tracks on TV and radio, creating a widespread high recognition factor on this tracklist. Big boys Paul Oakenfold's huge "Faster Kill Pussycat" featuring the vixen vocals of Brittany Murphy, The Egg struts its dirty stuff with "Walking Away", The Incendiary Blaze's "Most Precious Love" and "World Hold On" from Gallic god Bob Sinclar are all here alongside Supermode's "Tell Me Why", Till West's B Beat Girls-Sampling "Same Man" and George Duke's "Brazilian Love Affair" among others.

A quality night out with Hed Kandi on a cd!!5
This is what its all about. Going out to a club and listening to endless quality music being mixed by some of the best dj's around!!

Hed Kandi have pulled one out the bag here and although quite a lot of the material on these 3 cds isn't new they've managed to mix it all together beautifully.

Cd one has a handful of commercial tunes on it which probably isn't the best way of showing us what Hed Kandi are really made of but for some reason i don't care, maybe because there are numerous amazing songs and maybe because you'd hear these commercial tracks on a night out anyway, which is what they've aimed to do. Put a night out with Hed Kandi onto a disc.

Stand Out tracks on cd 1 are "Sweetness", "Never Give Up", " Head Over Heals", "Love Sensation" and "Calabria" which if i heard these tunes in a club it would definately be a night to remember!

Cd 2 Has strong songs on it too. Highlights are "Bounce", " Glamorous Life", "Muscle Car" and "S.O.S" which are again pretty good tunes!

Cd 3 is what we've all been waiting for at the close of the night. Hands in the air belters that finish the night off with a flourish!! Every single tune on this disc are, "Yes, all repeated from other Hed kandi Cds" but i feel that that doesn't matter as they've all been mixed together and a great cd for your own parties, which lets face it....everyone has!!

This cd is a MUST have in your collection and even if your not keen on the twisted series, discs 1 and 3 make up for this. I love all of Hed Kandi's Genres so the twisted cd appeals to me too which is why it's received 5 stars!!

Well done.... Again!

Hed Kandi RIP2
With the current release of Hed Kandi cds you can see the direction that the brand has taken since being bought by MOS. These compilations are no longer about the music but aimed at making money and rank up there with the NOW!!! That's What I Call Music in the cheesy stakes. Acquiring the brand was a huge coup for MOS but with the increasing commercialisation of house music it was going to be interesting as to which way the brand was to go. Unfortunately if you're a fan of house music give this a miss as you might as well just turn on the radio to hear these tunes. If you're a true fan of house music purchase something by Defected or Fierce Angels to hear the real sound of house

I like it....4
This isn't the best cd ever released by Hed Kandi but it's pretty damn good. I think it's time to move on from the departure of a certain person, Hed Kandi represents a style of music that is enjoying huge popularity at the moment. The success or lack of it cant just be attributed to one person selecting the tunes, what about the people who write this incredibly uplifting stuff. Yes this cd is a little more commercial than the older stuff but that's because it's really good, if the music is really good a lot of people will buy it and a lot of djs will play it, you cant have it both ways.

I was lucky enough to be at a HedKandi night in Ibiza this summer and I'm pretty sure that I heard most of the tracks on here played (certainly cd one anyway). So if they're playing them on the nights and a crowded club are going nuts the music on here isn't dated as some have suggested, it's what works at this time.

I was worried that Hedkandi would go down the pan after a certain company bought them out, that company has ruined many a good thing before but that simply isn't the case here.

I say so what if some of the tracks have had commercial success, they deserve to, it's not like this is a cd full of Craig David tunes with a four by four beat stuck on the back - this is good funky & electro house. Go and buy it, it's good!!
