100 Years of Vintage Watches is an excellent introduction to watch collecting. The pricing guide should assist in supporting any future purchases you may make and should also ensure you do not get carried away when first starting out.
The book is approximately 50% pocket watches and has a strong bias for American brands. I would like to have seen more European and obviously Swiss wrist watches. The book cannot cover every watch and despite this is a very good read for anyone interested in vintage watches.

The information within this book is a rich picture of bygone days with beautiful photos and brilliant info on them, if you do not already own this book I strongly recommend you to buy it through Amazon and be as amazed and pleased as I am with my purchase. Far from being described as a book this is far better described as a catalogue of vintage watch history.
