Disappointing1
Looking at the titles on this box set, it seems like the ideal buy for salsa lovers. Unfortunately what you get is just bad supermarket versions of the originals. My advice is to save you money and go for something more authentic to practice to!!

Great! -- but why did they call it Ultimate Salsa??4
Ok -- i'll be brief.
The music is quite awsome -- couldn't sit still while listning to it.. got off my chair and was grooving to it -- and again man the music is great!
but heres the catch -- i was not dancing salsa all the time -- true there are some kool salsa cuts -- but the music actually varies from merengue, mambo, cha cha and even a bit of jive...
so if you are looking for strict tempo salsa -- u looking at the wrong CD; but you want some latin music get down to -- this collection is pretty darn good.

This CD set is great value for 3 CDs.
It is perfect for those who want a mixture of old salsa classics and contemporary latino music..!
Its great for experienced salsa lovers, and many of the beats are clear enough for a beginner..
If you are going to only buy one salsa CD, I recommend this as a good place to start!
