Supreme Supreme Dalek
Let's get one thing out of the way - I was 50 last year and I don't think I'm the 'target audience' for this. If there had been this quality of toy when I was a kid (Yes, daleks were around then) I might have grown up well adjusted and sensible. But all we had were Dalek badges, clockwork Daleks and Weetabix cutouts once you'd eaten them all. The Supreme Dalek is absolutely wonderful. It responds to the radio controls very well and it speaks several phrases as heard in the two part finale of last year's Dr Who. If like me you own all of the Dalek range (2 'ordinary' new Daleks, 3 18" voice activated Daleks and the outstanding Davros) you'll find that they work on one of only two frequencies. This can be a problem if you and your mates are using them all at once but then again, half the fun is using them alone where you can plot world domination in the privacy of your fantasies! Fantastic
My son has been on at me since before christmas 2008 for a remote control dalek, however, being only 3 I thought he was a bit young for a toy like this. He is absolutly obsessed with Doctor Who, so for his 4th birthday, my partner and I realised that we could no longer put off buying him one. He is very advanced for his age, and thought that he would understand to be careful with the remote control toy, and to not break it.

Today is his 4th birthday, and when he opened the wrapping paper, the awe on his face was priceless. He was over the moon.

The Dalek is fantastic, the sound quality is immense, and the control from the remote is amazing. Myself, my partner and my sons Grandparents have had a lot of fun with this toy too, as well as my son and his little sister, who runs around after is with another present my son got today (a Sonic Screwdriver toy).

I must make everyone aware however, that the 3 lights on the Supreme Daleks head, the "eye", the "plunger" and "ray gun" all detach, and although they do re attach, I have had to emphasise to my son to not pull them off as we could either loose them or break the electricity connection.

Overall I am more than impressed with the quality of this toy. I am wondering now though, the quality of it could be good enough for collectors as well as child Doctor Who fans of this generation!
