rejoice! we are recreated in plastic!
an action figure of a sontaran. seen in episodes four and five of the fourth season of the new doctor who, they are a nasty brutish and short [by virtue of coming from a world of high gravity] alien race who are engaged in an endless galaxy spanning war against their adversaries the rutans.

the figure is a very good recreation of the character that we saw on screen, right down to it's less than average height. The head cannot be moved. The arms can be moved at the shoulders, the elbows and the wrists. the waist twists, and the legs can be moved at the top, the knees, the ankles and the feet. The helmet cannot be moved nor does it come off. It has transparent eye pieces.

he comes with a gun. the gun has two holes in it which presumably the hands should be able to grip but I found it rather hard to get it to hold the gun in any way other than in the photo shown of the product on this page. it drops a mark for that, but otherwise it's an excellent figure and great to have
