THE GOOD DOCTORS LEGENDARY TIME TRAVELLING POLICE BOX.
The TARDIS which stands for 'Time and Relative Dimensions In Space' is a 2000 year old type 40 time capsule. Which was engineered in the Time Lords Rasilon 'old time'era on Gallifrey even before the Doctor arrived. The Ist incarnation of the Doctor decided to escape from Gallifrey with his grandaughter Susan. So together they stole the TARDIS from the Time Lord Capitol at the TARDIS berthing docks. The Tardis is almost infinate in it's interior dimensions hence it's name and almost indistructable. The Doctor seems to have little control over his beloved home and ship. It's outer Plasmic police box shell is stuck in that form as the Doctor has never repaired the camelion circuit. But if it was fully working it could transform into any shape it liked to fit in with it's surroundings. It is the last of the Tardis's as Gallifrey was destoyed in the Time War with the Dalek's. But the evil Master is still on the loose so he has his own type 200 Tardis which he causes universal disruption with all the thwart the Doctor.Corgi have done a fine job with this model and it looks just right from all angles even down to the worn paintwork. I just wish they had fitted a sound chip and a flashing roof beacon then I would give this 5 stars !. All I can say is if your a Who fan get this as soon as you can as it's a must for the collection.
