A fantastic piece of kit!
This has to be one of the best Doctor Who figures I have had in my life (and this is from someone who used to have all the Mego figures as a kid in the 1970s); the likeness is superb, and the quality of accessories (limited to clothing and sonic screwdriver) is exceptional.
This is a must for the true Doctor Who fanatic.
Fantastic!
It's a wonderful figure of The Doctor! I've had him standing next to my monitor for a few months now. I absolutely love 12" figures that come with actual cloth clothing, much like Hasbro's 12" Star Wars line. The price is on par with those too, unlike the more expensive Sideshow Toy line.
The Doctor's suit is really quite detailed with little buttons and pocket flaps, and his tie and plimsoles are brilliant. His sonic screwdriver is neat too. Very well made. He really does look like David Tennant, although his expression is a bit serious. It'd have been nice if he was smiling a bit, lol. I've considered making a little pair of reading glasses for him, or an overcoat, but haven't yet.
I highly recommend this figure, and the 12" Cyberman. I'm happy to see that two more 12" figures are on the way from the same company. An Ood, and a really nice looking clockwork robot from The Girl in the Fireplace whose mask and hair comes off to reveal his glass n' gears head.
Fantastic Dr Who Figure (make a nice boyfriend for Barbie)
I have to agree with the other reviewers that this is one of the best 12" figures I have seen and could easily give Action Man a run for his money. Dr Who is incredibly detailed right down removable sneakers, detachable clothing and tiny Sonic Screwdriver. My son also has the Cyberman (recommended) and plays great games with them together plus the other 12" figures he owns and Barbie. This Dr Who is a great likeness of David Tennant and will prove popular with Tennant fans. The first thing everyone does when they take a look at the figure is strip his trousers off!
