Great figures for a great episode
This set is absoultely great, but there are negatives, ill start with the negatives but first I want to say that this set features
.1x Doctor in blue suit (no glasses) and sonic screwdriver accesory
.1x Astrid Peth figure + Titanic ring accesory
.2x Hosts + 2x Halo accesories
. The Doctor should have worn a tuxedo as seen in the episode, not a regular blue suit.
. Wheres Astrids teleport bracelet accesory? They should have featured one, and a tray of drinks as accesories.
. No Bannakaffalata figure inside!
. The halos on the Host figures heads arnt removable, as they were in the actual episode.
Now the positives of this set
Articulation
. Great articulation of the figures, all of them, and they have no stiff joints, especially Astrid.
Detail:
For detail this figure is exellant, great detail on the Hosts black eyes, facial detail on the figures, creases on the clothes, and very accurate paint.
The Box:
The box features information on the back, and an impressive background of the Titanic in space, very nice box overall.
How I got this:
I was getting it for my birthday in 2008, and it took ages to find as Argos didnt have in stock, and always delayed another month, but luckily I found it in the nick of time, in Toys R Us the king of action figures.
Overall I rate this set 4/5 as everything is good exceot it needs removable Halo weapons, a Bannakafalatta figure and the Doctor should have worn a tuxedo, seriously, Character Options love using old figures and just adding new bits on, they should put more effort, oh and Character if you read this, please release build a figure waves only if the bits are with new figures as I dot want to buy 10 figures I already have, especially if theyre not Daleks or Cybermen or Sontarans as I cant really build an army of dr who figures with Martha Jones and Doctors In Spacesuits.
Now lastly the episode "Voyage of The Damned was a Christmas Special in the science fiction BBC Drama series "Doctor Who" which aired on Christmas Day (25th of Decemeber) 2007, where The Doctor arrives on an alien spaceship based on The Titanic, when asteroids attack, and the Heavenly Hosts killed the survivors of the luxurious spaceship, its up to The Doctor and his new friends to fight for their lives and save all 6 billion people on Earth, from a terrible fate...
