The CIA have been hunting Jane Oxford, an international weapons dealer, for thirty years. Her only weak point is her son, Curtis. It’s a job for CHERUB.
CHERUB kids are highly trained professionals. Their essential advantage: a criminal never suspects that a kid could be spying on him.
This is James Adams’ most dangerous mission so far, working undercover inside a maximum security prison. Over the years, CHERUB has put hundreds of criminals behind bars.
Now, for the first time ever, they’ve got to break one out. (20041001)

Best of the series so far
this book has it all, charm , girls, wit, action. You couldn't ask for more! say your reading the Alex Rider series and they fall or slide down something and the sentance reads "Alex got up and miracously he was unscathed" were really he should have had a broken leg, there is none of that in these storys, as you read you get the sense of it being real. If you buy this particular copy at the top it will say " punchy exciting glamoraus and whats more you'll completely wish it was true". that is spot on in my eyes. The storyline itself is where he has to break a child out of prison as her mother is an illegal weapons smuggler. i wont go into though.
GET THIS BOOK!!!
Thrilling
If you like any spy books this is better than the rest!!! No need to comment as good as the rest, gets better as the seris continues
I would also like to recommend some other books similar but not quite as good, they are by Jack Higgins and Justin Richards, they are about twins and it is spy fiction
The last great Cherub book
In my opinion this is the best book in the Cherub series. It has lots of excitement in a top security prison in the USA and even though the actual breakout is a bit quick James Adams the main character has plenty of real fighting to do and excitement.
After this book I thought that all the other Cherub books were a bit disappointing because all the child agents seem to do is break into a house to do some photocopying. Maybe that's realistic but it sure isn't as exciting.
If you are interested in this book you have probably already read the Alex Rider books, but these are very different. They always seem more real not like the fantasy of Alex Rider.
There is also a great series you should read if you like this sort of book which combines the action and excitement with a bit more realistic emotion. That's the Jimmy Coates series by Joe Craig.
But definitely read this. It's definitely a page-turner.
