Very worth while!
I bought this book before purchasing my Dachshund puppy, and since then have constantly refered to it. It gives comprehensive advice on all matters, including behaviour and training. The step by step grooming guide is especially useful if you own a longhair! The author shows her vast knowledge of the breed and has much personal experience. All the behavioural traits of my own dog are mentioned in the book and help is given on overcoming problems. It does not generalise and relays honest, accurate information on the pros and cons of living with this particular breed.
