A good book for the novice dog owner
I bought this book looking for boxer specific training information, if such training actually exists?!
The book focuses more on teaching your dog the basic obedience commands which is excellent if u have never attended an obedience class with your dog, however it does only cover the basics.
That said, the book does extensively cover topics such as choosing the right dog, your dogs development stages (great) and early puppy training. The latter is very good as it offers lots of information on housebreaking, crate training, how to establish rules with your boxer puppy and how boxers typically behave etc.
The book also outlines typical boxer traits, mannerisms and at what stage your boxer is likely to behave/respond in certain situations.
An excellent book for both the prospective and novice boxer owner.

Good book overall
By buying this book I wanted to have some info about boxer as never owned any and I found it very good with some basic tips, althought found too many info for US market.

Overall as said very good to first time owners.
