Customer Reviews

Excellent product5
I have a German Shepherd and have been using the Canny collar for several months. Prior to getting it I used a Halti collar. The Canny Collar is much better than the Halti collar - I find it gives me much more control and reliability (the Halti slipped off once - even though it was fitted correctly). It is easy to slip the nose section off when you want to let your dog off the lead, whilst leaving the collar itself in place - not possible with the Halti. I also used to find that the Halti rubbed a bald patch on my dog's nose, because she pulled so much - this doesn't happen with the Canny collar. It is well constructed and comfortable for my dog. It's an excellent product and I highly recommend it. One word of advice - don't connect the lead to the carabiner clips (these are for when you let your dog off lead and need to clip the nose loop out of the way) - the lead should be clipped to the D loops which the carabiner clips are attached to (this will make sense if you get the collar). I accidentally connected the lead to the carabiner clips once and the lead came off (breaking the clip in the process).

Does what is says on the tin4
This is a great product that realy does top your dog from pulling. We bought it because my partner wanted to take our 6 month old English Springer Spaniel on walks to school with our oldest boy and baby boy, but because he's quite the little pulling machine, it was dangerous to hold him while pushing the pram. Having this colar now makes it possible!

However saying that, don't be fooled into thinking this will turn your dog into the perfectly mannered pooch that walks calmly at your heal, it won't. It is control device, not a trainig device! While this will give you the ability to control your dogs power to pull, it does TEACH him to do so. Only solid consistent training will achieve that. And that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
