The Bargain Hunters ESSENTIAL Guide!5
This "How to" book, is packed full of up to date information for laymen and professionals alike. Focusing on techniques in this high tech age, this book addresses anyone who has an appetite for Blue chip stocks,Timeshares, Mortgage advice,ISSA's, PEPS, Options, Insurance, On-line share dealing, on-line financial information without a condescending tone. No bowler hats jumping out from these pages! Whislt reading, one will find the author has used his own experiences as first hand information paving the way for others to avoid the same mud puddles when dealing in the world of finance.

With public awareness high on dubious traders and scams, the author dedicates two chapters to steer any novice and pro away from charlatans.

Chapter 14 "How to make a complaint that bites" is a must for anyone having a go at any business transaction in this customer service orientated society.

The Insurance market has come a long way since the days of the door-to-door salesman, and a pay-in book. Chapter 15 is compelling reading for those interested in 'ducking and diving'. Didn't realise religion played a part in investments, however this chapter brings religion into a new light, and with style.

Filled with unbelievably true stories of incidents of recent times, this book can guide you to the world of share dealing within the UK, European and American markets.

A huge bonus is a well researched appendix and providing names and addresses of regulatory authorities, time share organisations, stock brokers and insurance brokers. An explanation of financial terms such as PE ratio, PEG ratios, Dividend yield and cover and short and long term investments can be found throught this read along with the small investor's friend...Penny Shares!

What's brilliant is the numerous www's; wonderful websites ranging from auction houses, share price quotations, message boards, right the way through to the the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange. One can feel as though you have a firm grip to try one's hand at investing traditionally through a broker or plunging into the world of on-line trading. It does not read like rocket science, in fact it is well researched and written, with wit and humour. Not a boring moment!

Finally, after gleaning through this guide, one can find 'spiritual enlightenment' from "The share sharks' secret hymn book". Beware, lest ye fall prey.

An excellent book for investment bargain-hunters5
I found this book very useful and well-researched. If you are a begginer in the field of stock analysis, this book will guide you through the things you have to look for when you are looking for value. The section on ratio analysis (P/E,PRICE/SALES,PER,PEG,etc.) is absolutely brilliant. It also contains tips on how to avoid the sharks of the industry and good references to a wealth of material (websites and books).
