The animals watch in amazement as Crocodile demonstrates how he is the best animal of all. He can climb better than Mountain Goat, he can hop higher than Kangaroo. He can even swing through the trees better that an orangutan. But Donkey knows of something that Crocodile can't do and sets out to prove that donkeys are best after all.

Editorial Reviews
Review
Bright humorous illustrations accompany a rich, rhyming text to make this a story that children will want to read over an over. My picture book of the season. --The Bookseller Buyers Guide
This is a great book for reading aloud, it just bounces along with clear resounding rhymes. It is very funny and the illustrations have a little of the madness of Quentin Blake's pictures of Roald Dahl's enormous crocodile. The moral goes down with a spoonful of sugar! --Irish Post
This comical rhyming text is hilariously funny and destined to become a classic… It is brilliant and will have children and adults in stitches, giggling with glee. Like the writing, the illustrations are energetic, funny, bold, cheeky and great to dwell on, to think about the details or to simply bask in their humour. --Early Years Educator

Brilliant Bed-time Story
I am buying this because my 2 1/2 year old borrowed it from the library and won't let me take it back. He has insisted we read it every day and loves joining in with the rhymes. Best of all, I haven't got bored of it yet! Great fun.
Crocodiles are the best animals of all
Saw this book being reviewed in the Express newspaper with good reviews. Not disappointed it is charming. Bought it for my 2.5 year old grandson.
