Fabulous historical reference
An excellent book for the historic rally Mini aficionado. Fortunately it is not expensive as there is not a lot of reading in it but there are lots of photographs (B&W) and several sketches and other graphic illustrations. It's highly probable that most readers will pick up at least one hitherto unknown tip or trick for preparing an historic rally Mini. It's also a revelation to recognise how the BMC Competitions Department utilised the facilities in other BMC factories to fine-tune their cars with little need to resort to outside suppliers. While concentrating on the specification of a Mini in its golden era (mid-60's), it does refer quite well to how individual aspects of preparation developed over the years. Whilst I was slightly disappointed that there is little or no reference to the aluminium bodied car prepared for the 1969 season (GRX311D), on the other hand, I was delighted to read so much about the four-wheel drive rallycross Mini.
For the price, highly commended.
