About the Author
David Roberts worked as a fashion illustrator before becoming a childrenâ s books illustrator. He has worked with a variety of authors, including Philip Ardagh, Georgia Byng and Julia Donaldson. Little Red was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2006, and Mouse Noses on Toast won Gold at the Nestlé Childrenâ s Book Prize 2006. Alan MacDonald was born in Watford. He dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, but then he won a pen in a writing competition and his fate was sealed. Alanâ s since written over fifty childrenâ s books, and he also writes for TV, including the award-winning Tweenies.

I ordered five of theses books all arrived when stated. I was amazed at the conditionof these books, could hardly tell which were used and which were new. Love all the Dirty Bertie books. Think my son has the whole range now. So well writtern, they are a joy to read. Amusing stories and written in nice short chapters. Great bedtime read for the kids. (Mum enjoys them too!!)
