Nice large stickers but not much more unless the child can read
I was looking for a sticker book for a sticker-mad child, so this turned out great as it consists of 65 large, pretty, colourful stickers.
This is just a sticker book though.. not sure why the synopsys above says 'solve puzzles and problems' when there are no puzzles in the book.
The book has 4 pages of stickers and 6 pages with outlines for placing the stickers - each outline tells you who the character in the sticker is and/or what he/she is doing. There is a lot of writing on these pages, so if you want the child to do more than just place stickers everywhere they need to be of reading age.
There is also a *small* scenery background at the bottom of each of these pages for randomly placing stickers to create a scene.
There is only 1 full page scenery background for randomly placing stickers.
All in all quite nice for £3 because the stickers are a decent size.
We all love Dora
This is the second time I have bought this book. Once for my son, who loved it and we had several nights of entertainment placing stickers. Now my one and a half year old had to have one of her own. However my son was the one who got the most out of it. I would pitch this at the 2-4 year olds. Loads of quality stickers that dont rip as you try to fiddle them out. Great colours, lots of extra stickers to make a story on lovely backdrops. After all the action is over you still have a nice book on Dora to return to on car trips, where pointing and calling out is the main interest.
