Synopsis
With her cheerful nature, inquiring mind, and colourful fashion sense, Nickelodeon's adorable bilingual heroine DORA THE EXPLORER has charmed both preschool-age children and their parents alike. Designed to simulate a computer game, the animated series follows the cute little Latina girl, her monkey pal Boots, and their anthropomorphic cohorts Map and Backpack as they set out on problem-solving adventures that encourage interaction and physical activity while teaching simple concepts such as counting, logic skills, and basic Spanish. This volume presents the special double-length episode 'Dance to the Rescue', in which Dora and Boots try to save their arch nemesis Swiper from the clutches of an evil dancing elf through a fun-filled selection of dance routines. my 2yr old daughter loves dora,have a couple of her dvds
but mostly watches on nick jnr
this dvd has 3 episodes
the main one being "dance to the rescue" which is an extended episode
recommended to all dora fans

Ok..
I bought this for my 1 year old who loves Dora. Her attention span isn't great and at first she would not watch the first story 'Dance to the Rescue' because it has lots of singing in it. But she would happily watch the other two stories 'Rescue, Rescue, Rescue' and 'Leon the Circus Lion', which are more your classic Dora. Although my daughter loves the singing now, at the beginning I wished I'd bought a different Dora DVD. Hence, it's ok.

My granddaughter loved this
- I bought it for when she visited and it helped her settle. It's more than one story - so that we weren't stuck with seeing it through from beginning to end - and she soon started to participate with it: singing, dancing and responding to the questions. Unfortunatley she took it home with her - so I suppose I'll have to buy another one for her next visit!
