Much better than I thought it would be - easy to read!
The Photographic "Kama Sutra" is really much better than I thought it would be. This book is really full of useful and interesting information but is much easier to read than some of the other versions.
The photographs are tasteful but erotic and the language used is not off-putting at all. There is very little in the way of jargon or scientific terms that would make it a pain to read.
It's the sort of book that you can scan through, get the gist of it and then go back to find out more about the parts that really grabbed your interest first time round.
However, because this book is so straight forward, it does make you want to have a look at some of the more in-depth writings available.
A definite bedside book for most people!
An easy read with tasteful photographs
This book is easy to read. It is written in a clear narrative style and gives a lot of information about the historical ideas and legends that have contributed to the Kama Sutra. If you are looking for an informative historical perspective on tantric ideas and the Kama Sutra's origins, then this is the book for you. If you are looking for ideas to spark a bit of passion in your relationship, this is perhaps a little less helpful than some other books available.
A strange book
This book is not what it seems. There are drawings of couples tangled together in uncomfortable positions and text which encourages beating and degrading women.
