Digestible and easy to understand5
This is an excellent nutrition book. As a doctor I have long been suspicious of nutritionists that make unsupported claims but the authors seem to have struck a decent balance. Its easy to read and the advice is sensible. I have a copy in my waiting room which is becoming increasingly well-thumbed, hence buying a new one. The best nutrition book in the UK.

What a wonderful book! Beautifully illustrated, well laid out and easy to understand for beginners to the world of nutritional healing.

It proved to be my bible for getting healthy after a long illness, I use it constantly for references to which foods I should eat, when and how.

I learned an enormous amount from this book, I even gave copies to my friends! It is a good starting point to understanding good nutrition and health and will certainly give you the bug to know more!

An excellent and highly practical book for everyday use5
I was amazed at how good the book is. The photography is beautiful and the list of the top 100 foods is very useful and full of interesting food facts.

The explanations of how the body systems and how nutrients interact are easy to follow and understand, which is something I have not seen before in a nutrition book. For the first time I have understood how nutrients interact with the body systems and which foods support and promote health - I am impressed and have had occasion to use the book many times since I received it.

The recipes are well devised, and although some of them seemed at first to contain foods that were unfamiliar to me,I have tried some of them with great success and have found that the foods are readily available in local food markets.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in nutrition, food and health.
