Editorial Reviews

Manufacturer's Description
Unique 3D brushing action cleans by combining two distinct brushing motions, pulsations and oscillations. The in-and-out pulsating movements (20,000 per minute) reach deep to loosen plaque, while the side-to-side oscillating movements (7,600 per minute) whisk it away.

Flexisoft bristles bend, cushioning the tooth as the green Interdental Tips reach deep between the teeth.

Oral-B Indicator bristles fade halfway when it's time to replace your brushhead.

Built-in Pressure Sensor stops pulsations if you are brushing too hard.

Memory Timer sends a signal after the dentist-recommended 2-minute brushing time. The toothbrush can be switched off briefly without re-setting the timer.

Clinically Proven Benefits:

Removes significantly more plaque than a manual toothbrush
Gently removes stains and plaque build up to naturally whiten teeth
Improves health of gums by reversing gum disease
Helps prevent gum disease, the leading cause of tooth loss
Gentle for teeth and gums

Customer Reviews

my dentist recommended tihis4
I'm really happy with this brush. I used to use the semi-disposable electric brushes that you get in supermarkets, but found that these only worked for a few months before having to be thrown away.

My dentist recommended Braun models for their reliability, and said not to bother with a particularly expensive model because the basic ones do just as good a job - good advice I think.

I opted for the 5000 as its battery life between charges is good, and it has the timer function.

I've been extremely happy - it feels well made, battery is good, and my teeth feel great. When i went back to a regular toothbrush after my previous cheap electric one broke i used to get all sorts of gum problems etc and really wasn't happy with my mouth - but now it feels great and at the dentist today I was in and out of the chair in 30 seconds, not even needing my usual clean & polish. Enough said!

Brushing's a breeze5
I'd always been dubious about purchasing an electric toothbrush, but the Braun 3D completely changed my mind.

Why do I like it? Here's a quick list:

It's easy to use - you can get to all the fiddly bits that manual brushing or flossing can't. I've noticed a difference, and so has my dentist. My teeth and gums feel cleaner.

You can't damage your teeth or gums - the pressure sensor stops the brush if you are pressing too hard.

It's easy peasy to charge - just pop it on the charger unit overnight. I find my brush is good for at least 10 to 12 days, brushing morning and night.

It's mid range pricewise, and I think it works out as good value for money. Once you've got the brush, all you have to do is replace the heads every so often.

Give it a go - you might be surprised.

Suprisingly good5
Like one of the reviewers above, my dentist suggested one of these. I was skeptical as they sold them, but bought one elsewhere and am very pleased! Each time I brush it feels like I've had a polish at the dentists. After a week of using this, my gums haven't bled at all, and my mouth feels much cleaner and nicer. After a year of use, my teeth seem a bit whiter too! The replacement heads can be expensive, by it's definitely worth it, and the prices for the brushed seem to have come down a lot lately.
