Great clippers
Just bought these - great! I used to have a Wahl 300 which eventually died after many years good service, and made the mistake of replacing them with a Remington model - not recommended! The Wahl cuts far better and the 600 series is very easy to use. The guards were as stated on the box - I think the previous reviewers confusion arose as sometimes the guards are described as 'numbers' (e.g. 1,2,3 etc..) and sometimes in millimeters (3mm, 6mm etc..) so a number 1 cut is 3mm guard, no.2 is 6mm etc, so the contents are as stated on the box. Recommend this to anyone - saves a fortune in haircuts!!

A cut above the rest?
I'm very pleased with this - it's the first time I've cut my own hair, and the results were better than I dared hope! The clippers seem sturdy and well made, with blades that can be removed and sent to Wahl for resharpening, which sounds like a good idea. Comes with instructional DVD rather than an instructional video, and the style of the DVD was rather cheesy - but that's a very minor gripe. All in all, highly recommended.

Good shaver, just need to improve the shaving box
The service I received was superb, with the item arriving the next day, in spite of using standard delivery.

The shaving kit comes in a box, but it has no compartments so all the components were jumbled together. On inspection I found two of the combs to be damaged (teeth broken off) and this was probably the result of the box's design and the combs not having any protective packaging. I contacted the sellers who sent replacements which also arrived the next day - excellent service!

The instructional DVD is only in NTSC format, so if you have a standard PAL TV you'll have to watch it in black & white.

This is the first shaver I have used, so I'm unable to make comparisons, but I'm happy with it.
