Highly recommended
Having finally got fed up with shaving rashes, I threw the Mach 3 in the bin and bought an electric shaver.

And... i'm happy.

It is not as close as a blade, but im fairly sure that is why my skin is so much better. My previous experience of a shaver was a Remmington 5 years ago, and the comparison is striking. The Remmington took a lot longer to get a clean shave - the Phillips just glides over the skin somehow taking stubble with it, and is a lot quieter in the process.

It comfortably holds charge for a week of shaving, recharges quickly, and is easy to clean.

The one thing I would change is to add a low charge warning light, but it is still highly recommended.

Not bad for a reasonably priced razor
Like many others before me, I recently got tired of all the hassle of wet shaving every day and this was my first venture in to electric shavers.

The unit itself works very well, but you do need to keep it well charged. This is hardly a chore though, you just need to get in to a weekly routine.

As others have said, the cut isn't as close as a wet shave and it does take your face a couple of weeks to adapt to electric shaving - stick with it though as the advantages definitely out-weigh the drawbacks. You may find yourself shaving at night as well if you are going out or have anything else in mind, but again, this is hardly a chore.

Electic shaving is not the answer to all the problems of wet shaving, however on balance I do prefer it and will stick to it, at least for now and this shaver is perfectly adequate - my only fear is that I will soon get trapped in to the upgrade path for shavers and end up with a £300 Turbo charged, leather upholstered version before too long....

Great shaver, great value
This is the best Razor I've ever owned. Useful, quick re-charge facility, the trimmer is very efficient, flexible head on the Razor to go with the contours of your face, and cuts effectively for a smooth, close, comfortable shave.

So, a product which is far cheaper than many others, but it is also a more comfortable, closer shave. In my view that makes this model outstanding value. Highly recommended.
