Uncomplicated and consistent
After reading the reviews relating to the all singing all dancing machines that claim to be able to calculate the composition of your body and to possess more memory than 'Deep Thought', I decided that all I wanted was a machine that could tell me how much I weighed. The 8962U is easy to use, the display is clear and of a good size. Up to now (after one week) there have been no wild fluctuations between readings from day to day.

Display too dim
The machine looks smart, is very light-weight but the display is inadequate. It is almost impossible to see the figures in the lower illumination levels usual in bedrooms and bathrooms. The self-adhesive label on the footplate leaves a big sticky patch that's difficult to clean off. I was disappointed and returned the machine.
