Customer Reviews
iPod Nano:
As soon as I saw the iPod Nano being advertised I really liked the look of it and how small it could be. As I was saving up for it I saw many reviews on how easily the iPod Nano gets scratched easily and how the screen can break. Luckily, the bad reviews didn't put me off buying this incredible item!
Yes to a certain extent the reviews were correct about the Nano being easy to scratch, (so are mobile phones but that doesn't stop people buying them!) but investing in £20 for a selection of covers will stop that straight away. The Nano is sturdy and [touch wood!] my screen has had no problems.
The sound quality is exceptional but it does also depend on the headphones aswell. The headphones with the iPod Nano produces good sound quality.
Its not impossible to fit 500 songs on the Nano but you may find it hard! It won't take up much memory but the album/song art picture that is displayed next to the song does take up memory too, so if your only interested in putting as many songs as possible on your Nano then don't use the album/song art.
The iPod Nano is almost perfect for me! There is only one thing that is stopping it getting 5 stars from me and thats its battery life! I'm not being particularly picky but it certainly doesn't last 14 hours! It lasts a good 6 hours with the volume quite loud and having to keep changing songs. If you do buy this mp3 player I recommend you create a playlist of songs you want to listen to and hopefully you won't be in a loud enviroment and can listen to it with relatively low volume!
If your looking for an mp3 player to put your favourite songs on then i definetly recommend you buy the iPod Nano, eitha 2GB or 4GB
Nano Star
The ipod nano 2gb white is a stunningly bueatiful mp3 player weighing in at only 42 grams, pencil thin and holding around 500 songs. The ipod nano has a crystal clear 1.5 inch colour screen, which is ideal for viewing the photos the nano can hold or just the album artwork of the song you are currently playing. The ipod nano's memory is flash memory therefore there are no moving part's so the nano is completly skip free. The ipod nano has a 14 hour battery life from which you can get 80% capacity from with a 1 hour fast charge. The nano comes with 4 inbuilt games ideal for thise boring times on the bus. The nano is pc and mac compatible. Inside the box you get a usb lead, software, dock adaptor and the traditional apple white earbud headphones. Unfourtanatly like the ipod mini and the shuffle before it you do not get a mains charger with the ipod. Therefore when you buy the ipod the only way of charging the nano is throught the usb2 port on your computer, If you dont have usb2 on your computer or want a wall charger one of these will set you back around £19 pounds. Team the nano up with the many accsesories around such as the lanyard headphones, fm radio remote, nano tubes (protective case for nano) or of course the nano dock and you'll never look back. As usual with ipods the only thing's i can criticise with the nano is the lack of fm radio and lack of wall charger both of which can be sorted by purchasing the apple ipod fm remote and usb charger. If you can over look these things and want an mp3 player that is easy to use, has good sound quality and is stunningly attractive then the ipod nano is for you.
Excellent !
I bought my Ipod Nano last October and to date it has been a fantastic buy. I use it every day and its become an extended part of me ! It is sleek, very easy to use, looks good and the sound quality is excellent. It doesn't play for 14 continuous hours as stated but depending on how often you use the screen light you can get 10 hours easy. I purchased elsewhere a mains charger but it charges quicker if you use the PC. However, the screen has just cracked internally which is apparently an inherrent manufacturing fault on some of the early ones. I contacted Apple UK who arranged collection of my faulty Nano to be replaced on receipt......so no complaints. Well done Apple.
