Excellent
Aside from a brief, and unsatisfactory, period many years ago electric shaving I have wet shaved for 30 years. I took a chance with electric shaving because I wanted to 1) save time and 2) reduce the problems I was having with razor burn and ingrown hairs. However, having a heavy beard and needing to shave every day I was a bit skeptical that an electric razor could give me a close enough, smooth shave.

I needn't have worried with the Philips RQ1075. After a couple of weeks of my face adjusting to the new system my shaves are just as close as wetshaving. Something I was not expecting!

This shaver is a joy to use. Solidly built, great looking and does exactly what it says. I love it.

A Super Shaver
Glad to be able to give a review as I appreciated others comments when deciding on a shaver for my husband.

I believe this shaver is very good. The shave is excellent, even getting rid of the 'goat' hairs on my husbands neck. Being able to wash under the tap and with the cleaning liquid gives an excellent choice of cleaning methods and the charge lasts for a good week. The shaver is quiet and the travelling pod is excellent.

My husband previously had a top of the range Braun but I feel the Philips is so much better.

I am writing this review as my husband has Alzheimers so you can imagine to get a shaver that helps me in my quest to keep him looking handsome is a boon!

This gives an excellent shave. The cleaning unit works well. (I am sure you can use a home-made cleaning fluid - soapy mix?). Well chuffed!
