The FinePix J20 features Automatic Scene Recognition technology which intelligently recognises the type of scene you are shooting and adjusts the camera settings to optimise results. This takes all the hassle out of photography and lets you snap away safe in the knowledge that your photos will come out well. SR Auto chooses between 6 pre-set scene modes: Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Backlit Portrait, Macro and Night.

Advanced feature set
Featuring Fujifilm's acclaimed Face Detection technology, the FinePix J20 will deliver flawless people pictures every time. Face Detection is able to detect faces in the frame and automatically adjusts the focus, exposure and white balance to reveal perfectly balanced portraits.

The technology works regardless of the subject's position in the frame, and is not confused by anyone wearing glasses. To avoid the disappointing results of red-eye, Face Detection goes one step further by detecting any red-eye in the shot and automatically removing it as the picture is taken.

Pictures taken in low-light conditions, and fast moving subjects, are especially susceptible to image blur, so the FinePix J20 also features a Picture Stabilisation mode, using high sensitivity (up to ISO 1600) to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low-light background detail to deliver virtually blur-free images.

Brilliant Value, Brilliant Product!
I've had the J20 for a month now and I'm very pleased.

I'm trying to learn digital photography and also own a Fujifilm Finepix S5800. Also a great camera but too big to throw in your pocket on a night out.

I decided to plow the minefield of point and shoots and settled on the J20. Primarily my decision was influenced by a history of success with Fuji (never let me down!), spec (10MP, adequate zoom & large screen) and cost (£100 will do me fine!).

The J20 excels on all fronts. Even with a small case which you can pick up for next to nothing it esily fits in the pocket, the auto scene option actually seems to work and picture quality is nothing short of superb.

I'm sure there is better for more, there is probably also a lot worse for more! So if you want a solid reliable point and shoot that looks the part, has a battery that doesn't want to die and above all genuine quality photo's (after all that's what it's all about) then give your £100 to those reliably clever chaps at Fuji and don't look back.......

Small and beautifull
I had this unit for 2 weeks - to use as a small camera when I do not feel like taking my heavy SLR around
The quality of the pictures and filming is clearly above my expectations - it is a great little gem.
And it is so easy to carry - no more excuses not to have a camera present in weekends

Fuji FinePix J20
I agree with what the previous reviewers have said - esp about the reliability of Fuji. My first ever digital camera was a Fuji and v low spec but took marvellous photographs, even without a zoom lens. This one also v good quality for the price, is very portable and very 'user-friendly'. I recommend.
