Okay, please read this...
Anyone who has been putting this game down for bad graphics, gameplay and a poor fighting system dosen't seem to know what they're talking about. I am a practicioner of jeet kune do, my sifu is in the lineage under Bruce Lee, as will I be when I get my instuctors certificate (Hey, I'm 16, but getting there). For a start, the graphics I actually found to be impressive, admittedly there are jerky moments here and there but yet again so does every other XBOX game I've played; as much as I prefer XBOX, it dosen't run as smoothly as other consoles. The attention to detail on Bruce was great. I have Bruce Lee posters by my TV to make a comparison from Enter the Dragon and I have to say Bruce looks identical to what he did in about 1973. The fighting system, well, the motion captures are from some of Bruce Lee's films, as well as new additional imput from Bruce Lee's students Ted Wong and Taky kimura. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and it's now pretty much the only XBOX game I play; I play games at the weekend because I got to college to study and come home to TRAIN in the evenings. So, I think my review is more noteworthy than others. And then people say the game is so bad Bruce would have been ashamed, well that is just blatant exploitation of a man to exemplify your petty hate complex you have on a game because it didn't feature fireballs and magic. The game is great, especially for 2002. As a jeet kune do disciple, I'd say this is a brilliant simulation, and as for disgracing Bruce Lee, those people don't know what they're talking about anyway. Enjoy the game it's brilliant.
"You have insulted my family and the Shaolin temple".
This game has to be one of the most awful games released on the xbox so far! What were they thinking? The graphics are ridiculously slow and you'll never get used to the irritating camera angles no matter how long you play. Even die hard Bruce Lee fans shouldn't buy this game!
Worst x-box game ever?
What were the developers doing when they released this game? i mean did they even play it? what a waste of the great name of Bruce Lee.
First of all the graphics are very jerky and the gameplay is very repetative i.e walk a bit punch a bit,the voice over acting is awful (even by video game standards).
This game could have been everything instead its an insult to the great man! the people who made the game need a huge Bruce Lee kick up the backside.
Please avoid this game the graphics are no better than you would expect from a playstation 1 ! and this must be the worst X-box game to date ??so well done to the developers they have won at least one thing!
