A must for every drummer's library
This is one of the bibles of drumming text. A great book for developing reading and can be used with many 'systems' which makes it an invaluable study aid.

For the BEGINNER.
Great for a beginner or even intermediate drummer. It is definately a good book to develop reading and contains lots of good rhythm and time-keeping exercises, but it's just too easy.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect, but luckily, it's very cheap. The hardest part of the book is probably the last page where we see triplets with accents...

If you can't read rhythms very well, it's definately worth the £1.50. But I probably wouldn't buy it if you've been playing more than 5 years. I'll just use it for teaching.

Hehehe too easy???? Congrats you just completed the very first stage. Now check out the Alan Dawson method book "The Drummers complete vocabulary" which you can buy right here on Amazon. It will show you how to start properly utilizing the book. Notice how I say start, to feature every possibility with "Syncopation" would be to much for any one book. Put simply Ted Reeds syncopation book is a must have for any Drum Kit player of any style or level.
