Shonen-ai. You'll laugh out loud at some parts and there are a few 'romantic' moments, but I find the comedy takes over the plot a little throughout the series. Worth reading.

I added this one in because I think the artwork really improves. The plot continues, though it's a little hard to take it seriously.

Shonen-ai(ish). Cute, beautiful artwork. Rather short, slow start, and I found the series ended too abruptly (7 vols). A slow start and disappointing end. But I liked it.

Shonen-ai. Beautiful artwork, and a great storyline. I think its great, I'm looking forward to reading the next vol.

General. Pretty good until you get to the 'Shooting star' series, all the character's look so different it just put me off. My advice would be to stick to the original manga's, anime and movies.

Shonen-ai/General. Very oldstyle, but an intriguing plot to boot. A manga for older readers, or perhaps readers who are searching for a manga with a different genre and style.

Shonen-ai. A lot has changed from the manga. Maiko (Shu's lil' sis) is gone, as well as the rest of the Shindou's, and there's a lot more Ryuichi. Good but I prefered the manga.

General. An earlier one of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces, extremely captivating, though I prefer the Japanese version.

General. Wartime tale, quite tear provoking. I recommend it to all.

General. Brilliant! Very fast paced and action filled, can be a little overwhelming. I recommend the entire series (35 vols).

General. I can honestly say that I love the anime just as much as I do the manga, but it would be a sin to watch it in anything but Japanese.

General. One of my favourites from Miyazaki, a wonderful, magical tale. I tend to prefer the original book more though (Diana Wynne Jones).
