Manufacturer's Description
Do you sometimes dream of being a vet doctor? With the game My Vet Practice this dream can come true. Build up your own practice, decide when to build which building and which patient to treat. Every day people come to you with their animals, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgerigars, cats, dogs and even horses. Sometimes it can even be necessary to accommodate the animals and take care of them for a couple of days, so that they get well and happy again quickly. Therefore you can build extra stables and accomodations. Feeding, playing with the pets, bear company, but also cleaning up and the daily treatment are your duties. For very demanding horse-patients, you can experience interesting things about horse whispering. But although the work with pets is a lot of fun, even the best vet doctor needs some time out. Then you take your own horse and go for a long ride at the beach, on meadows and fields or through the nearby forest. Stock up new energy to become the best vet doctor of all time.

A fun game
I have just got this game and have played on it today for the first time. You run a vets practice and you treat and care for different animals who are brought in by their owners. The more money you make, the more you can build new areas. ie a cattery for housing the cats who have to stay in. You have to buy new treatments from the shop for the animals and you get paid for treating each animal successfully.
All in all it seems quite a fun game. The voices in it are quite annoying at times (ie the shopkeepers voice and the voice of your own character) but all in all I am enjoying playing it.
If you like simulation style games its great and I imagine it will get better when I can start treating the larger animals (you have to take tests to treat certain animals but this requires money).
If you enjoyed 'My Animal Centre in Africa' then you will enjoy this one too. Theres also a bit where you can ride a horse around the grounds, but this bit is quite ard to get the hang of.
Worth getting in my opinion.
sooooo brill!
this game is brill. it is about someone who has to look after all the animals. it is a great game, especially good if u want to be a vet when you are older like me. this game gets u into animals and teaches you and shows you how to look after them. i would defently recommend this game for 6+
learning the ropes
I bought this game and I have to say I was addicted to it for the first two days and within that time I had completed all of the tasks. It is very rare I play this game now as I completed it, but if you are a DS gamer who likes to complete a game quickly then I recommend this one but if you want a game that constantly surprises you or keeps you interested may be this game isn't for you and the vets voice does get annoying and the way they finish the vets day when sometimes you are in the middle of looking after an animal which you then have to make up for the next day when you have customers constantly coming in can be quite irritating too.
