Customer Reviews

Not the best game i've ever played.2
I had this game for christmas and i was looking forward to playing it. However, i was dissapointed.

There are a few good things about this game- it tells you the story, so for those who haven't seen the film (lke me) know where you are. The game has the voices of the actors (always a bonus), the graphics are good and the music is too. There are plenty of mummies and bad guys to shoot/beat up.

So, why the two stars? As i said above, you can beat and shoot the bad guys. There is a lot of it, infact, too much, which will put some female players. Secondly, you only play as Rick and his son, which is a shame. The other characters are not playable which means it is limited. There is some puzzle solving to do but not much, which again is a shame. There are symbols you have to draw to progress but the ink runs out way too fast so when you are in timed sections, it wastes so much time. Before i knew it, i was near the near the end of the game, but this is where i got stuck. There is no indication of where to go, and incidently, the time limit is too short, which mean i'm stuck on a level and have been for three months. I even tried the game from scratch bt nothing doing. This is one of the hardest 12+ games i have come across. At some points, there are too many bad guys coming at you, which means no way of winning and having to start at the beginning of the level, even when you can see the ending. It got so bad i had to use a cheat to get infinate ammo and infinate lives, and even then i struggled. This was in the normal story mode and not in the hero setting. I actually played a little of that, and as far as i can see, it is EXACTLY the same as the main story game.

I'm stuck in the game and have done everything i can think of. Infact, after the third attempt of the level second time round, i switched off the game and haven't put it back on since. It's the only ds game i haven't played again and i'm unlikely to. I feel this could have been a good game but it turned out to be pants. In one way i feel lucky this was a present as i would have sold it had i bought it. Only buy if you love shoot them ups and repetition.

good but hard.2
difficult on some levels to go onwards and also if you die you have to start at beginning of each level you are on. reccomend you leave.
